I get several email messages in another language. I know in many web browsers they can either automatically translate to English (Chrome) or there is a extension like Bablefish (Firefox) where you just cmd-click the text. Is there something available for Apple Mail that I can use to translate email text? I currently copy text, go to a browser, paste in Google translate. I would prefer to do this within the email, if possible.
That amounts to the same as copy and paste to Google translate, which is even quicker because it will auto-detect the languages for you. What would be great to have is a Service which allows you to translate selected text, or even the entire e-mail. Any further leads on this?

I am looking for the same thing! It would be great if there was an automatic translation service, or even a simple button or drop-down, but I can't find anything. Does Apple not allow plugins? I know they just today released Safari 5 with extensions...any chance we can do this for Mail too?
The MacOS X dashboard widgets come with a translator, so copy the text that has to be translated, open the Dashboard, paste (select the from and to languages as required) and it's done.
