How do you change to Portrait printout. Everything I print from keynote, either slides or outline comes out in landscape mode. I do not want this at all. I have looked through preferences and other areas with no luck. Changing settings on the printer does not work. So usually, I go back and use my Powerpoint for Mac...I would rather use Keynote!
Thanks, busterboy
I am having the same problem. If I could just add to your question. I want to print in portrait withe 2 slides per row, 3 columns (handout w/6 slides). I would rather not have to use powerpoint for mac to do this as well.
I just figured it out. In the print window there is a tab that says keynote. Click it and it will give you multiple options. One is layout. There you can change it to portrait. As for my question I changed it to print 2 pages per sheet and set it to 3 handouts per sheet and it worked perfectly. Hope that helps you.
It should have worked. Once you get to the layout tab you should have the full menu of slides per page, slide sequence orientation, page orientation, etc. Are you sure you went through the KEYNOTE tab?
I can change number of slides per page. What I want and cannot change is for the document to print in portrait orientation NOT landscape. There was not an option, at least not on my print menu to change from landscape orientation to portrait orientation.

That worked. Thank you very much. Pardon my stupidity - I should have known that. Now I have to work on the margins-it is right at the left edge of the paper - can't punch holes and put it in my notebook without loosing info. Powerpoint for Mac is so much easier (for now anyway). No adjustments, no headache, no margin changes!
