Need Task and Notes Synchronization with Exchange

TAskTAsk is fantastic! I am so disappointed that it does not work with the 4.0 OS and I hope the patch will be available soon. I am an administrator at a community college and LIVE by my Microsoft Exchange task list, so I am crippled now that it does not work with the 4.0 OS. It makes me want to return to the 3.0 OS.

I have just switched from a Blackberry with Enterprise Server to an iPhone 4 with Activesync having been assured by me email host, Intermedia, that my notes and maybe even my tasks would sync, but this appears not to be true. I am approaching 20 years since my conversion to Apple and therefore have clearly drunk the Kool-Aid, but I do think that it is a shame not to have this integration in the Enterprise/Activesync world. Is this something controlled by Activesync, my Exchange host or a short-coming of the iPHone software that it is unable to handle these two additional components of MS Outlook?

Also, I sync my iPhone with my Mac at home as that is where my photos/iTunes etc stuff is and I do not sync it at work where the MS Outlook is. Do you think that is going to matter?

Neither the Lite nor full versions work for me.
I know that the Exchange settings I entered are correct as I use the same exact settings to sync my calendar and contacts OTA.
These settings in iTunes did not work for me even in 3.1.2.

Try iMLite Viewer... it's free... http://appshopper.com/productivity/imlite-viewer-outlook-notes-tasks. Works well for me.

The iPhone has to be able to sync tasks and notes. Use the IMExchange app from the App Store if you need to sync those items.

This App says it only works with Exchange 2003 and 2007. I can't seem to get it to work with my Exchange 2010. Any other suggestions?

did you try their free "Lite" versions as they recommended to ensure compatibility?

Yup. Nothing seems to appear and if I click on the Out of Office tab it tells me that it cannot connect to the server.

I would suggest you contact your mail server admins to make sure you have the correct settings.

Good suggestion but they are correct because I set up my Exchange profile for email myself. I just think it may not be compatible with Exchange 2010.

Thank you for the suggestion though as I have spoken to my Exchange provider and they suggested a different username than my email account and for some extraordinary reason it now works!

Allez Epic, can you tell me the format of the username you used or how it was different than the original you were trying. I will probably be facing this issue in the coming months.
