No Cover Art even with MetaX
I have just set up a Mac Mini up to my TV and obviously am looking to use it as a media centre.
I create a movie on a MacPro in FC6 and export it out Via 'Share' and have done a H.264 video.
I then run this .m4v file through MetaX to insert an image and a description that I would like.
Now on the Mac Mini I have an external drive called Media and within this is a folder called Movies. I have made an alias of this folder and replaced the Movies folder within the home folder which redirects Front Row to the external hard drive.
Ok here's the rub. I copy my m4v file onto the external drive (Media>Movies>Test.m4v) and presto it appears in Front Row. However it doesn't show the cover art or description, just a random frame from the movie clip. Open the test file in MetaX and the info is their, but not in front row.
How do I get round this? Incidently I don't really want to use iTunes to manage the movies on the mac mini but when the test file is imported into iTunes on the MacPro the cover art is there.
Any suggestions?
By the way OS on the Mini is 10.5 and on MacPro 10.6
Cheers
Steve
