How do I down load pictures from my iphone to my computer

The Camera Roll on the phone identifies itself as a Digital Camera to your computer. You don't sync them as you do everything else with iTunes.

You get them off as you would any digital camera.

You don't say what type of computer you have so instructions are different depending on that.

If Windows, it should prompt you about taking pics off when you plug in (unless at sometime in past you changed it by saying don't ask you again).

But once plugged in you can also just browse to it. My Computer. You should see iPhone listed as Camera. Just go into it, go into folder, copy off files.
