iBooks or Kindle?

What do you prefer and why? I've heard that books are cheaper for the kindle, but is Kindle as good or even better as iBooks?

Yes, the kindle is good. The books are cheaper and there are more books available on the kindle. I prefer reading on the ipad though.

The best of both worlds for me is the iPad with iBooks AND the ipad kindle app. That way, all the good is rolled into one.

The only complaint I've heard about the ipad as a reading tool is it's heavier than the kindle reader.

I prefer kobo over kindle-you don't have to leave the app for iBook or kobo to shop.
I have not noticed any price difference between iBook, amazon or kobo-then again I have only shopped for a few titles.

Now-amazon and kobo have wider selection of books, I don't believe this will last for much longer.

As far as just appearance for reading-iBook.
