Thanx for your reply and the research. I can believe that. Otherwise they wouldn't be charging only .99 cents. Still, what's .99 cents? I'll just download the app on to my iPhone and give it a try, but my question still remains open as to whether the grams scale apps are made for iPad too. Thanx again.

How right you both were! What a waste of an app that was! I'm glad it was only 99 cents. I wanted the scale to weigh the progress of my two baby cockatiels. How silly of me to think these apps would be of any help. Like you said, the target area given is very small. It so true when they say, "You get what you pay for."
