Laying flat on your back, trying to use an iPad.

Those that try to do this know how difficult it is to do, long term.

Yeah, I've watched the videos of the people that have mounted an arm to their wall, but I don't want to do that. All of the cases that have a strap on their backs that seemed promising to me got bad reviews.

Any good solutions or ideas that I might be overlooking?

Wouldn't laying flat on your back and holding anything above you get very tedious very quickly? I can't imagine reading a book this way for very long (especially a hardback). Heck, just holding one's arms above one's prone body would be difficult after some time.

I guess what I'm saying is, why would you do this?

I hear that OS 4.0 has a lighter than air option built in. 😉
