Installing Snow Leopard on a Dell

Have you considered buying a refurbished MB from Apple, they currently selling for $759 and can be found here:

What have you tried to fix it? It's possible that software is the problem, or an overly full drive, or any one of lots of easily fixed issues. You might try a clean install of SL, after backing up your present system. For $29 it's worth a shot.
