How to terminate a user session

Hi !

Would one of you know how I could, having an administrator account on a Mac, kill the session of another user? (from within my own account)

Open Activity Monitor and kill the loginwindow process for that user.

System Preferences/Accounts
Unlock the padlock, highlight the account & click the "-" (minus) button.

Do you want to stop the other user running (log them out); or delete his/her account? The instruction above will delete the account.

Is it because it happens to also be an admin account?

Only the admin can delete accounts including their own.
