iPod Touch 3rd Gen crashing randomly

My iPod touch has been crashing randomly lately. Sometimes it won't let me turn it on again until I plug it into a power source, and even then it may not work. It happens a couple of times a day, sometimes more. I have restored, restarted it, upgraded everything, ect.
