Custom wallpaper blurry (iPhone resizing?)
Hi everyone, I am making a custom wallpaper with some small text and I keep running into this problem.
The best information I can find is that the wallpaper should be the same size as the screen, ie 320 x 480 pixels.
When I create the image it is sharp. Save it as gif, jpg or png and move it to the iPhone, it is sharp.
Go into wallpaper setting, select image, preview is sharp.
Yet when I view the actual wallpaper on the iPhone it is fuzzy.
I suspect that either the actual wallpaper size is something other than 320x480 and the iPhone is therefore resizing my image, or the iPhone is actually making a copy of my image for its own use and is recompressing it in the process to save disk space.
Anybody know the answer?
