iTunes under Virtualbox

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get iTunes to work under virtualbox? I'm running 3.2 and have tried it on previous versions of virtualbox, on multiple systems.

I don't understand why I can run every other non-graphics-insane windows application under virtualbox, except for itunes.

It always crashes with an application error with no useful diagnostic clues.
