Epson C46 driver?

Question

Epson C46 driver?

My son has an iBook and his school has just "Upgraded" all the schools printers to Epson C46's and as a result he can no longer print. Epson do not have a Mac driver for this printer, is there anyway to get around this problem?

Mac OS X (10.4.1)

If you have not installed the GIMP printer drivers, then download the Gutenberg Drivers 5.0 from www.versiontracker.com and install them. A driver for the C46 printer is included in the latest set of GIMP drivers.

Gimp-Print 5.0.0-beta2 has support for the C46. It may be worth trying.

Yes, it doesn't work. Whjen you plug in the USB cable it just isn't recognised.
