Mini DVI compare to Mini Displayport

what is the difference between the two when hook up to a DVI/HDCP HD 24" 1080P with DVI-D cable.

Nothing. You can use either one for DVI and there will be no difference.

would i get a better picture if i use mini displayport to HDMI then Mini DVI to DVI. i know that there will not be able to use the sound.
