How to sync iphone clock?

As per this archive thread... http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1746376 there is supposed to be an option called 'set automatically' but I can't find it either in Clock.app or Settings.app/General/Date and time. I would like to have the clock synced to either my mac or my carrier. Any help?

The set time automatically option will only appear if your carrier supports automatic time setting. Not all carriers support this, & if your carrier does not support this, that setting will not appear. The time update is done over the carrier network, hence the need for carrier support.
