There is no device limit for the number of iPods, iPhones, and iPads that can be synced with the same iTunes library and iTunes account on the same computer.

In regards to iTunes content, an iPad can be synced with an iTunes library on a single computer only and photos can be transferred from a single computer only. When transferring iTunes content including 3rd party apps and photos from another computer, all iTunes content and photos transferred from a different computer will be erased from the iPad first. The same applies to an iPhone. You can sync contacts and calendar events with the supported applications on multiple computers.

Under the Apps tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes with Sync Apps selected, select the app that you want installed on your iPad followed by a sync. If there are other apps on your iPad, the existing apps on your iPad will not be touched. If you deselect an app under the Apps tab for your iPad sync preferences that is currently installed on your iPad, the app will be deleted from your iPad when syncing.
