Copy website from iMac to iPad

One of the reasons my wife bought an iPad was to keep a copy of her art website on it. There does not appear to be any way to copy the website files from our iMac onto the iPad. We thought that we could just access the files directly as we do on the iMac and not need any internet access. I have seen some apps that enable you to download individual pages (instapaper and offline pages) but these are not appropriate for getting a full website, especially one that needs all images of her paintings.

Is there any way we can get the website files onto the iPad so that we can just browse them in Safari when the iPad does not have any internet access?

Take a look at the dropbox app.
It's free and just might be the ticket. Certainly worth a try.
You can install in on multiple computers and there is a an Ipad app.
You can place you site folder in dropbox and it will sync with the Ipad.
I believe you should be able to access the index or home file and load it offline
into Safari.
Again I don't have my Ipad as of yet, but it appear to work ok syncing with another computer.
It appears to work on my Ipod, but the browser has it's limitations.
If it's an Iweb site it would need to be published to a folder.
Anyway, the free space available with a dropbox should be more than enough for your needs.
