Keep audio, remove video?

I'm trying to open a movie with a still. I want to use audio from another clip. But I can't figure out how to remove the movie clip but keep the audio over my still.

This is my first attempt in iMovie, and so far I'm stoked! Just not perfectly successful.

Thanks for any suggestions you may have.

First, go to iMovie/Preferences and make sure that "Enable Advanced Features" is checked.

Now, let's assume that your still has already been added to the project.
Go to the Event and select the frames that contain the audio you want, so that there is a yellow border around them. Drag this clip to the project and drop it on top of your still. A pop-up menu should appear. Choose "Audio only".
