Image enlargement

On my iMac I can enlarge screen images (for my failing eyesight) by depress the command (apple) key, the option key and "+" simultaneously. This does not work on my iPad. Is there an alternate scheme for iPad????

iMac, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

The iPad includes a multi-touch screen interface. You can pinch and zoom on an image to enlarge it. Check the Photos and Safari guided tours.

Check the User Guide - page 16 and beginning on page 105 for the accessibility features.

Hi and welcome to Apple Discussions. "Zoom" works very well on the iPad. It's found under Settings, Accessibility. You just have to figure out how it works. You can just leave it on all the time as it's really not that interfering. A three finger double tap zooms in and if done again, zooms back out. While zoomed, you scroll using three fingers (instead of just one). Once you do the initial zoom, you can increase the zoom by double tapping with three fingers again, but leave them on the screen after the second tap. Then move up screen to increase the zoom, down to decrease it. Doing a double tap with three fingers (and taking them off the screen after the second tap) will always return you to normal from whatever zoom you're in. Check it out!
