Sync I calendar on computer to itouch

I don't have internet service at this time and I
want to sync my computer with the itouch.

When doing this the I am told in the info that i have over the air sync. where do I change this on my itouch to sync with my computer not using the internet or mobile me?

You need to install iTunes and then set your syncing preferences. Pretty simple process.

When your iPod is recognized by itunes, click on the device name and you will see a Summary Tab. From that tab, set your sync preferences by clicking on the the other tabs. Mail, Calendar, Contacts can be set on the "Info" tab.

I have itunes installed. I have used this for two years. The problem is i don't have an internet connection at this time. When I sync the the ipod actually an i touch. Under the summary:

Your calendars are being synced with your ipod over the air from mobile me.
over-the-air-sync setting can be changed on your ipod.

1...where on the ipod do I make the change? 2...or is the only way to sync calendars with mobile me?

i do have mobileme but at this time I have no internet

Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts & Calendars and select your Mobileme account. Then, select Calendars to OFF.

Turning it off will not sync the calendar with the computer. when turned off it reset my calendar with no dates I had previousley set. It appears the syncing with the calendars can only be done with mobileme, and as I have said at this time I have no internet service. I will wait until I have internet again and use my mobileme.

After you turn off the MobileMe syncing, you need to select "Sync iCal Calendars" in the info pane when your iPad is connected to iTunes. I sync my calendars that way rather than using MobileMe.
