Shared libraries, sync to blackberry

I have a macbook pro and itunes where the files are no longer found. I want to pull some shared files to create a playlist and sync to my mac but it won't work, I get a file not found error. How do I do this ?

macbook pro, Mac OS X (10.6.3)

What does this have to do with "sync to blackberry" (which cannot sync with iTunes).

Pull from a shared XP (which is not showing up in the Mac finder, though iTunes sees it fine) to a Mac. And vice versa.

FWIW The newest Blackberry Desktop Manager synchs iTunes playlists to a blackberry.

You need to turn on -> Home Sharing and copy the files to the Mac you are using.

Tried that. Errors out that the file can't be found. So far I've actually had to copy them over to the Mac

Did you turn on Sharing in iTunes prefs or did you enable *Home Sharing* in iTunes menu Advanced -> Turn on Home Sharing?
Sharing simply allows you to listen to music on other computers.
*Home Sharing* allows you to copy songs from other iTunes libraries to your own computer.

Home sharing is turned on, but I will check out the article.

Now I have to figure out why my apple and dell won't share files besides itunes.
