2-RCA Cable to Dock Causes Loud Humming Noise
Hi all,
I have a 2-RCA cable connected to the AUX jacks on my audio receiver.
When I try to connect the Stereo Mini Plug into my 3rd Generation iPod Dock to a very loud humming noise is caused.
There is no humming noise when I connect the Stereo Mini Plug into the headphone jack.
It works fine playing through the headphone jack, I am just curious if anyone has any ideas about what is causing the obnoxious humming?
The humming Dock is a new development. There used to be no humming. The only thing new is I've recently connected an external hard drive to the USB 2.0 jack on my Dish satellite receiver which is also connected to the audio receiver.
