iPhone not syncing with iTunes

I have been through the troubleshooting in Apple Support for getting iTunes to recognize my iPhone and sync it. I've reinstalled iTunes 3 times now since I got my iPhone 2 weeks ago. When I reinstall iTunes, it will find the phone and sync it for a while. Then, it stops recognizing it again, and I have to reinstall iTunes again. Today, iTunes again does not recognize my iPhone... The phone shows that it is charging, but iTunes can not find it. iPhoto finds it and wants to download the photos on it.

I'm just really getting tired of having to reinstall iTunes every 3-5 days or so. It's annoying. What am I missing?

I restart the computer, the phone, etc., everything the support page says to do.

Any ideas why this keeps happening and what to do about it?

Does everything the support page says to do include deleting the Apple Mobile Device Service before re-installing iTunes?

This just happened to me about 2 hours ago, been going nuts trying to find a solution. I just installed 10.6.3 three days ago, and been using my iPhone in Xcode developing apps for the iPhone and iPod touch, but the "organizer" all the sudden stop recognizing my iPhone. I then tried to see if iTunes would recognize my iPhone, and it did not. I have restarted both computer and iPhone several times, and tried other iPhones with no luck! Been on the phone with Apple Care, trying to get solutions....still Pending!!!

I spent quit a bit of time with apple support, but the solution that actually worked was to *totally removing iTunes* (my version was already the most up-to-date 9.1.1). +However removing iTunes is not as easy as just dragging the iTunes icon over to the trash can.+

Here is Apple's Support Instructions for removing iTunes!!

Follow each step, line by line, each one is very important.
You also need to last 9 "Additional Items" to make sure everything is removed 100%"

P.S.
1. Make sure you "*Empty your Trash Can*" before Restarting you computer.
2. After you download iTunes again, you can find the iTunes icon by opening the "*Application folder*", finding *iTunes logo*, and then drag the icon back down to the dock.

I hope that helps several others out there, as Apple Support didn't really have a solution because this has just started happening.
