Adding Movies From iPhoto

I wanted to add some videos I took on my camera that were in my iPhoto library, so I selected them in iPhoto and dragged them to iTunes. They are there now, but the files seem to be saved in both "Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Movies/..." and "Pictures/iPhoto Library/...". Did I duplicate the files? Is there a way around this?
