Windows Media wma2 file to soundtrack/final cut

Hi, Can anyone tell me how could I use a wma2 (Windows Media Audio 9 standard) format audio track? Quicktime and VLC plays it but I can't export from QT and cannot open/import with any other app like Final Cut or Soundtrack. I have Flip4Mac, Perian, etc... I need to use it in FCP/FCE

Do you have the freebie flip4mac? It looks like the Pro version ($29) will allow you to export to different QT formats.

Another possibility is to download a free utility like soundflower or Jack, which will allow you to play it and record the output in STP or another program.

I've used EasyWMA (http://www.easywma.com/) to convert such files with very good results.

You can try Audacity, too. It's free. I'm pretty sure it will do conversions. The best is to get an upper level of Flip4mac. It will integrate into the FCS suite and you'll be able to read/write in a lot more places on the Mac.
