iTouch won't sync Podcast

All of a sudden, I keep getting this error message "<podcast episode> was not copied to the iPod <my iTouch name> because it cannot be played on the iPod." What does it mean and what can I do to fix it? I have tried to search Apple support for this topic, but I haven't found anything yet. Please link to any answered question is applicable.

Thank you!

Hmm. Try highlighting the video podcast and choosing "Create iPod or iPhone version" from the Advanced drop down menu in iTunes. The newly created version will be in your Movies section. You can move it back to the Podcasts section by changing it's *Media Type* to Podcast from under the Options tab of the "Get Info" window in iTunes as well.

Then try syncing the newly converted version to your iPod.

Is this a iPod or podcaster problem? Any other ideas that could identify the true culprit?

This could be a podcast producer problem but it is hard to say. Sometimes your iPod just gets a bit picky when it comes to what requirements are needed in order to sync a video. The file format may be fine, but smaller specs such as the dimensions and such can throw it off.

I suggest you contact the producer and see what they say.

Glad you hear you have it up and running now. 😉
