Email text includes dkim-signature, domainkey-signature, etc., etc.

Am trying to help out my father law who is not computer savvy at all so forgive me if I don't readily have pertinent information. Lately, all or most of his emails have contained what he calls "gobbledygook". Examples below:

There's more, but you get the idea. He says this info precedes his messages, sometimes for a page or two. He lives across the country so I can't see his computer but I thought I would check to see if anyone had thoughts.

He uses a Gmail account if that makes a difference. Also, I am fairly certain he has 10.5.8 but there is a small chance he has 10.6 if that matters.
