go right to book on iBooks ???

In iTunes go to the left side and click on Books under library, here you will see books that are in iBooks app.
Right click the book and choose 'get info' then choose the right hand side tab 'Artwork', drag you image into the window and then sync your iPad to iTunes, your book cover will now be updated in iBooks.

I have done what you suggested. But under Library-Books I have advertisement for
download audiobooks, or get iBooks but it doesn't have anywhere for you to click
If I syn with iTunes I can see the books I have but even under get info it won't let me
paste into artwork. I did 4 books and 1 took that way but others won't. Strange.
I when into iTunes and typed in the ones I wanted, they don't come up on the store,
only on store on iPad. This sounds like a challenge to me. Any ideas let me know,
mean while I will play around with it. If it worked for one book for me, the others
have to also (did the same for all four books)
Wish me luck!

Here I am again...I have tried to delete the books I have and start from square one. Bringing them up on iTunes in the sync I can see the books and add the art work copied from web.
The art work shows on 2 out of 6 all doing the same way. If you open the book from the
shelf. The art work shows for a nano second. The other two are showing on the shelf with
the covers I put into the art work.

Very strange....I played with this quite a bit......ok for hours. Another day I will try again
but for now I'll have to live with the covers iBooks gives to me. The free books have almost
blank covers. The 2 I did get to take are really great.
Any one who has figured this out please let me know.

Thanks

Gaz and Anthony's instructions are good.

I downloaded 3 free books (King James Bible, Siddhartha and Pride and Prejudice) directly to iBooks. No original covers - just a brown page with titles and corner ribbons that read 'New'.

Connected iPad to iTunes, synced and unmounted the unit.

Opened Books in iTunes and the 3 books show up (without covers). Get Info on books and pasted Jpeg images from Google.

Connected iPad to iTunes and synced. Covers show up on iBooks with same ribbons.

Hi!

I was experimenting with this and changed a book cover simply by dragging an image to the artwork area while my iPad was connected to my computer. It worked and the new image shows up in my iBook library. Then I decided to change it to an image that I liked better. I can't. I can't drag another image over it. At "get info" for this book at artwork, the delete and and add buttons do not work. This appears to be true for all books that came with artwork. Not a major problem, but any solutions? It seems like if you can add an image, you should be able to delete it as well.

Thanks!
