Q: Acoustic Guitar Loops Sound Wavy/Warbly - Apple Utility 1.3.1
Hello.
I am using Apple Loops Utility 1.3.1.
- I created an acoustic guitar loop that sounds great in Pro Tools. - I exported as an AIF file at 24 bit, and I tried another at 16 bit. - I opened in the Apple Loops Utility and set all the tag info, and set it to "Looping". - I saved it and dragged it into Garageband.
= Here, it plays fine at the original tempo (92). I changed the tempo to 140BPM and it retains its pitch; HOWEVER, it sounds warbly.
I created several other acoustic loops that ALL sound great in Pro Tools, and seem to sound fine at the original tempo in Garageband... BUT... they are wavy/warbly when increasing the tempo... even thought the pitch is retained.
My loops have very much the same tone as the Garageband "Acoustic Picking" loops, yet theirs sound great with no warbling.
Does anyone know what I may be doing incorrectly, either in the recording process, or in the Utility process?
