Ok, I have read through a lot of posts here and can't seem to find a solution to my problem.

Downloaded Safari 5 last night, and now using the internet is virtually impossible. It took 20 minutes alone to load the Apple Discussion site, log in, and get to the new post screen!

When opening Safari, it immediately starts to load the page, then stops half way through, taking 5-10 minutes to finish loading the rest. Most of the time though, it is then saying I am not connected to the internet.

Netflix is one of the few pages that loads at a reasonable speed, then about a minute or two into streaming a video, it freezes and the color pinwheel spins for about 5 minutes then it closes.

When navigating from a loaded web page, Safari is saying I'm not connected to the internet, but I am, and able to use other applications like iTunes store and send and receive Apple mail just fine.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated! If this can't be resolved, is there a way to download and go back to Safari 4 (without using recovery disks)?
