Ensure you have the current version, install/upgd it. Check your components folder, rerun AUmgr-is it in the list? Does it pass? If it is in the components folder but not in AU mgr's list reset and rescan from AU mgr, if it is in the list rescan it, it should pass and become available as an audio instrument.
Battery 1 passes the AU Validation. Battery 2.1 does not. Unfortunately I've had to go back to Battery 1 myself because of this. I'm sure NI will fix this eventually.
did you run the au validation programm? maybe if the validation crashed or didnt work you should update battery with the au hotfixes. battery 1 and 2 working for me since first installation.
if the registration of battery or other plug-ins expired they will also crash in the au manager.
Battery always worked for me with any LOGIC versions.
The only problem that i have with it to this day, Is that it works only in stereo.
If i insert Battery in mono...the plug will quit as soon as i press a key.
Having the same problem here. Only 4 of the 11 instruments are working from NI in Logic 7.1.1. NI and Apple need to figure this out. It leaves my new system non-functional.
I searched for au validation and au mgr, au manager. There is nothing on my hard drive called any of these things. Where is this au manager? I know it came up when I ran Logic for the first time...
