MP4 Video will not transfer to my iPad

Hi,
I created a movie using Adobe Lightroom 3. It creates an MP4 video file. It plays in iTunes and all my other video players. However, when I try to synch to my iPad I am told that the file was not copied to my iPad because the file will not play on it. I have a 32gb WiFi model iPad. I tried using iTunes to convert the file for use on the iPad but it tells me that the file is already in the correct format. I am a bit confused. Everything seems to have been done correctly. Is there a particular resolution that must be adhered to? The file I created is 720 x 480.Any help out there?

This happened to me on a movie as well. I tried to load it several times and gave up. And then for some reason I tried again the other day - and voila - it loaded. In between I had updated the iMac and restarted several times and such. IDK maybe that had something to do with it. But the movie does play great on the ipad now. You might want to try some simple stuff like restarting such. Sorry can't be more help.

Have a look at the frame width - I have has a similar problem and have just posted a thread

I have noticed that if the file has a frame width greater than 640k it would not sync ( its not supported by the device )

Anyhow I would be interested to know if this is the same problem

if it is the same problem I'm not sure how to merge the threads so if anyone knows how to do this please include in reply
