iPhone 3GS - Photo Folders

How do you create photo folders on a Mac and put them on an iPhone. I also want to be able to label the folders specific names and give them specific pictures instead of the default sunflower.

Easy to do with iPhoto if you use iPhoto for photo storage and management on your Mac which can also be used for importing photos from any digital camera including from the iPhone's Camera Roll.

With iPhoto, you can create albums for select photos, which is similar to creating an iTunes playlist.

Under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, select Sync photos from and select iPhoto and below choose selected albums, events, and faces.

Select the iPhoto albums below the Albums selection that you want transferred to your iPhone followed by a sync.

So I tried removing the folder through iTunes and the folder I want to remove from the phone does not show up, because the folder wasn't created using iPhoto. It was created on my desk top by dragging and dropping photos into a folder and then I put it on the phone.

That folder is the one I am having problems with removing.
