How to make safari for mac behave like safari for iphone/ipad

How do I get webpages to load videos and ads only if they run in quicktime or html5 if they are available and not in flash? thanks

13" MacBook Pro (Summer 2009), Mac OS X (10.6.3)

Hi There

You can try changing the user agent of Safari to that of the iPhone or iPad by going to Safari >> Preferences >> Advanced and enabling the "Show Develop menu in menu bar" then selecting the desired user agent from the Develop menu.

You could also try a utility such as click to flash ( http://rentzsch.github.com/clicktoflash/), which will block all flash objects.
