HP photosmart B109 n-z unable to add this printer
I need some help
purchased a HP photosmart B109 n-z all in one printer today, it is supposed to work wirelessly and was assured that it worked with Macs!!
However
when I am in the process of adding a printer in the system preferences section. I click on the + button and in the window that appears my new printer is sitting there as an option under Bonjour and under USB. I assume this means that I can have the system working wirelessly or thru USB, but anyway..
I am unable to complete the process of adding the printer as I have to select a location?? and also there is a box for "Print Using": please select a driver or print model.
My printer doesn't appear in this list, and when I search the HP site, there is only the download for any printer, which is what I already have on the disc with the printer..
Can anybody help me? is it that this is actually not compatible with Mac? second printer I have bought with info on the box saying it is when in fact it isn't...
I actually added the thing by selecting one of the other photosmart printers that appeared on the HP list and although it allowed me to scan, when printing a file it only prints out tonnes of pages with meaningless letters and codes. it will also do this remotely..
Would appreciate any advice??
