TEMPERATURE ! iPad needs to cool down before u can use it

bought 64gb with 3G last night and it only worked for 2 hrs. Ive reset it, restored it and tried every remedy that apple offers in help sections and it goes back to the same screen as above subject. I cant get apple on the phone. Any suggestions?

iPad 3G, Windows XP

What do you mean you can't get Apple on the phone?

Are you calling AppleCare at (1-800-275-2273)?

You can call AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby.

My 3G never gets hot

have not used out in sunlight

I have had it running videos for 5 or 6 hours and not getting hot

leave it on all day still not hot

If your is getting hot

take it back

yes thats the right number. Message says to look on internet and set up appt for phone call on another day. Ive yet to talk to a person

Mine gets relatively hot when charging, not enough to overheat but still.

I suppose if it gets real hot you could use it to cook eggs. Mine doesn't get hot when charging, but the little white box on the cord does. If I plug it into an extension cord it gets so hot I can't touch it. Won't do that again.
