Sling player on ipad

I can connect my sling player on my Mac book but with my iPad (using wifi) it keeps saying that my device is not connected to the Internet ( I have checked and it was connected to Internet when it failed to connect to my sling box). Anyone having problem connecting sling box or successfully connected , please give me some help!

I got my slingbox to work on my ipad, the reception is only soso as the app is designed for the iphone and not the large screen on the ipad but it works. I got a similiar message when setting up the slingbox as I thought it could be wireless but the actualy running / installation of the app on the phone was seamless.

I had no trouble setting up my SlingPlayer Mobile on my iPad two weeks ago. As someone mentioned, the picture is a bit blurry but adequate. I use it with Wi-Fi. I also play it on my PC, Mac and iPhone. No issues with each. You can choose 1x or 2x magnification, as with other apps.
