We tried resetting the network on his iPad, updating his IOS & nothing seemed to work. I decided to look under the WIFI information on one of the devices that was working with the wifi to retrieve the IP address & other info. The only field that could be accessed on either device was the DNS field, so we went to my husband's iPad & manually entered the same DNS address from the working device & hit return. This allowed him to enter the password & it connected! Hope this helps!
