How to UNselect all songs in iTunes at once?

I am trying to redo the music that gets synced to my iPad. I want to UNselect all songs and start fresh. How can I uncheck all checked songs without clicking each of the 2500 or so checked items?

If you want to start over and remove all music from your iPad, deselect Sync Music under the Music tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes followed by a sync.
