New Here with a ? about QuickTime on iPad

Have searched until I am blind from looking for how to get Quicktime on my iPad (64Gb WiFi) we got yesterday. No videos will play on the Apple Website, very frustrated. If this is a repeat and I missed it yawning looking for it, I'm sorry.

The iPad cannot play/view or load QuickTime videos, directly, nor is it capable of loading the QuickTme application.
Portable devices like iPods, iPhones and iPads can view videos in either .mp4 or H.264 formats.
To put QuickTime videos onto your iPad to view and play them, you need to drag and drop the QT videos into iTunes and then look for the menu option to convert the QT video to iPod format. This converts the QT data into .mp4 format that all iDevices can read.
I am not sure if you need to purchase the full QT Pro registration to do this, though.

Quicktime should be loaded with the OS software.
If it's not running Apple web videos, you can try the following:

1) Press and Hold the Home and Wake Sleep buttons until the Apple Logo appears.

2) If that doesn't work, try a reset, To reset go to Settings, General, Reset, Reset.

3) Restore the ipad using itunes on your computer.

If it still doesn't work, contact an expert at:

Hope this helps...

I cannot watch msnbclive.eu. So I have to bring my heavier, clumsier Android tablet along with me if I wanna watch TV @ work, etc. Such a bummer. Is there anything that works for that??

I also like watching BBC News at http://ready-tv.com/?p=136 which also requires Quicktime. Again, I can only watch it on my Android. I REALLY would like to dump the Android, so . . . Any ideas??
