If it will play with QuickTime Player, then you can rotate it with QuickTime Pro.
It provides a key to enable extra functions in QuickTime Player 7 (Utilities folder).
Click "Show Movie Properties" in the "Window" menu, select the video track, then the "Visual Settings" tab. Select the desired rotation, then "Save As" from the "File" menu.
You might like to try MPEG Streamclip. It will load most movie formats and you can rotate a movie during export.
