iPod Dead =/

Well of all stupid things to do, i dropped my iPod Touch in the toliet... D'oh.
So i left it to dry, the screen was on but the touch did not work and now it just doesn't come on or work with iTunes.

I still have the reciept and got the iPod just after last Christmas, will Apple do anything if i take it back to the store e.g. Fix it, for some sort of price probably £1000 =P or give me a new one(Not likely).
