I have no idea how to save the images that i save while surfing the net or emails.

They are saved to a folder in my IMAGE build in app called "Saved Photos", but i don't know how to get them out of my iPad.

Does anyone know how do do this?

I believe you sync them, using the Photos tab during an iTunes sync. IIRC, the album name will reflect the date you do the sync, but I'd have to check to be sure.

I've looked where I've set my folder with pics to be saved and they are not there...

I have no idea where they could be if they are syncing to my computer.

I've never synced photos to a PC, but maybe doing a Windows search for some photo filename you think should be on the PC would find it.

You can use the app photo transfer to move up to 50 photos from the iPad to your desktop computer and from the desktop computer to the iPad. There no way to access the saved photos that are synced to iTunes.

There is no way of accessing them, or even deleting them? Upload into my Picasa Web account or a photo site in any way?

I don't know if it's just me, but that seems not very advanced.

    It's a basic missing functionality.

I'm not on my iPad/Mac right now to pursue this, but I'm sure they synced into iPhoto and were accessible there.

Very simple, open up my computer and the iPad icon should be displayed just like any other drive. When you open it up it will than say internal storage. then a folder, mine is labeled DCIM like many camera folder names, that is where all your saved photos are. i think you can only copy them from the folder to your hard drive, and you have to delete them on the iPad. i guess you can say it treats it like a huge flash drive but just with your saved photos

Your Windows camera wizard can take them off the ipad onto your pc.

Just verified this. Took a snapshot of the iPad screen, went into Saved Photos. Brought up iPhoto on my Mac, it saw the iPad and proposed importing the one new photo, and I told it to do so, and to NOT delete the photo from the iPad. It's now in iPhoto and on the iPad, still in Saved Photos.

It seems odd that you use iPhoto to get the "Saved Photos" from the iPad to Mac laptop and use iTunes to move photos from laptop to the iPad. Seems like this would be done with the same app. Any idea why two apps are needed for this? It would seem that you would be able to move photos with either app, but no luck so far.
