Do not send a complaint through apple's feedback form. That's for feature requests.
Incorrect. The feedback form permits the submission of "Bug Report"s. See the "Feedback Type" list.

Jan 7, 2012 6:57 AM in response to JimHdkby Sam Katz1,OK. But bug reports occasionally have workarounds. If this was a bug event caused by a upgrade from one OS vesion to another (as was the case with a large number of these cases), you need to contact apple for help determining workarounds. I find going in person to be better, but you can call over the phone.
They will not charge you if it is an unresolvable bug report. They will only charge you $30 if they resolve your issue. If you have a warranty, it is covered. (Applecare or applecare plus)
They do not charge for genius bar appointments. Offer to check it in for service if they cannot resolve the issue same day.
Btw, I mean a workaround that completely solves the issue. Disabling javascript obviously is a troubleshooting measure.

I was thinking the same thing about those that allege crashes but do not take the unit to an Apple Store for resolution.

Jan 7, 2012 9:31 AM in response to karenvbby Dwight Brown,Thanks, I needed that.
You could have just called me crazy. That might have been the tactic of the religious fanatic, though.
After 333 responses, at least one of them yours, this discussion hasn't led to much. Not much sense in spreading it more, is there?
So, I'll go make some army soup. That'd be more constructive.
Sent from my iPad, with no problem at all.

Well, it's certainly OK with me but don't go whining that "Apple's got to fix this but I live in the boonies and I can't take the iPad for Apple to investigate." You expect Apple to mail you some fairy dust to fix the problem?

Out of how many millions in the field?

Jan 7, 2012 10:56 AM in response to Mrduttzby Sam Katz1,Software updates that update the kernel can in fact need to be serviced, if a DFU restore doesn't fix the issue. Updates to an operating system on any device can go bad sometimes. Software updates modify the kernel (or re-image it to be precise. It could have done an incomplete sync. (I noticed ios 5 says it's finished restoring before it transfers the media over.) If you do not live within range of an Apple store, please call Applecare for resolution, mail to an apple authorized service provider like iresq.
It may actually be the flash memory in your ipad has bad sectors, or a number of other causes, that turning off Javascript happens to solve.

And that's Apple's fault how?

What were you told when you took your iPad to the Apple Store for resolution of your issue?

Why? Is it because there is a potential solution to your problem and you just don't want to hear it?
