Griffin FireWave

Can anyone surgest a compatable driver for the Firewave under bootcamp windows Vista 32bit ? I have this devise running on the Mac side no problems but windows cannot find a driver and I'm really fed up of only 'on board' sound in windows !

Not running this on Mac listed it's a Macbook 2.0Ghz.

PS bootcamp from OSX 10.5.8 running the 2.1 support drivers.

Hi,

since Griffin discontinued the FireWave sometime ago and even does not support it it on OSX Snow Leopard plus the fact that it was never listed as being Windows-compatible (BootCamp or not) I doubt you will find any driver.

Yes I know Griffin has discontinued the FireWave no updated driver since 08 !! so I also know there is no support for Snow Leo lucky I'm NOT planning on upgrading then hey ?

What I want to know is there _ANY COMPATABLE_ drivers for a firewire sound card NOT griffin drivers in windows ?

after doing some extensive googling I couldn't find any mentioning of a third-party driver for the FireWave.

Thanks Stefan,

I came to the same conclusion ! I have been looking for around 3 months now was hoping someone on here had a driver or something, pity as it's a good sound card, will just have to live with the on board sound then.
