Bluetooth won't turn on

I have Iphone 3Gs and suddenly Blue tooth won't even turn on. I hit the on button and it immediately toggles to off.

It has been working previously and paired with Parrot car kit. There have been a few issues where it freezes when it rings in the car and I have to disable and reenable again - however this is first time it won't even turn on at all.

Anyone seen this before or suggestions to resolve.
