I have noticed that when using Google maps and Google Earth, as well as 'Star Walk', my actual position can be out from between a few hundred yards to a few miles in the case of the latter. Is there any way I can check or adjust calibration on the iPad WiFi 3g 64?

Could it be that the GPS is not working properly? Maybe you are in a location
where the iPad is not getting a clear view of the satellite and it is
relying exclusively on the cell network for positioning.

If the problem persists when you are outside with a clear view of the sky
then there may be a problem with you device.

Thanks for the response, I'll try a line of sight test.
