itouch fail to pop up on oc

okay...so my itouch has been actin up for a few days now. i went to plug it in the computer with a usb and the red battery showed for 3 seconds and the screen went black. i plugged it in 2 times after that (on 2 different days) and the apple sign showed up (like when it turns on) and then the screen went black again 😟 HELP!
