Sony Digital Media Port TDM-iP50 will it work with iPhone 4

I have found that the iPhone os4 does not work on the media port after speaking with sony they advised they are aware of the problem as yet no fix

my iphone 4 works with my sony dm port just fine and also charges it

I have an iPhone 3G and get error message saying this accessory [Sony DMP-iP50] is not compatible with iPhone: it worked perfectly before upgrade to ios 4. Is there any hope of a fix in the next round of software. I love my iPhone but the poor thing seems to have taken a backward step.

I was afraid that my TDM-ip50 cradle from Sony would not work with the iPhone 4 because that's what I read somewhere online and it's even what Sony told me when I called them. I was pleasantly surprised, however, when I got my iPhone 4 to find that it works just fine as it did with my 3GS. I guess Sony hadn't yet tested the cradle with iPhone 4 so they didn't want to say it would work.

The iPhone 4 can be hooked to TVs with the Apple Component Cable or Composite Cable instead of a cradle, but you won't have the remote control you do with the TDM-ip50. Well, at least I have remote control using the remote from y Sony Home theater system. Make sure you get the correct cable, read about both of them on the Apple site. cheap knockoffs are available on eBay.
